Center Black and Indigenous isthmian knowledge-making and perspectives;
Gather a transnational community to reframe how the region (past/present/future) is imagined through scholarship, arts, and activism;
Highlight alternative mediums of education such as K-12 teaching, cultural mapping, social media, etc.
Construct an intellectual space that centers Central American arts, including poetry and performance
Foster Central American community and engagement, especially within the East Coast as Central American Studies continues to grow and develop.
